Road Toll Collection System

As of 1 January 2018, road toll applies to all heavy vehicles that weigh over 3.5 tonnes and use public roads of Estonia. Krabu Grupp has participated in the development of self-service portals for customers. The portal ordered by the Estonian Road Administration Authority follows the eIDAS framework and enables the cross-border use of e-services by European Union citizens and residents.
Functionality: authentication of ID-card, mobile-ID and bank link users from Estonia, authentication of eID users from EU Member States; authorization of legal and natural persons, user rights management, creation and management of personal account, carrying out the electronic payments and payment refunds, generation and sending of electronic invoices, e-mail and mobile notifications; reporting and statistics, responsive design.

Moodle Platform Customization

Challenge
A rapidly-growing private-sector company needed a simple, auditable way to prove that every employee had read and acknowledged mandatory internal documents.
Solution
Krabu Grupp extended the customer’s Moodle learning environment with a custom Document Sign-Off plugin. Once an employee finishes reading, they set the status to Done; the system instantly stores the user, timestamp and document version and feeds the data into a real-time compliance report.
