Architecture and prototype of the national translation platform

At the request of the Center of Registers and Information Systems (RIK), Krabu Group created the architecture and prototype of artificial intelligence based platform, which will become the cornerstone for the Estonian national translation environment that will be developed next. The functionality of the proposed translation platform includes management of translation jobs, order and information exchange, machine translation, file editing and transcription, management of translation memory databases. The solution makes it easier and more harmonious to translate public documents and significantly simplifies translation work.
Completed work:
– conduction of a survey of user needs and expectations covering all user groups,
– process optimization,
– a vision to automate processes, reuse data and improve usability,
– prototype of the new user interface of the information system (UX-UI),
– usability tests using a prototype (UX),

Moodle Platform Customization

Challenge
A rapidly-growing private-sector company needed a simple, auditable way to prove that every employee had read and acknowledged mandatory internal documents.
Solution
Krabu Grupp extended the customer’s Moodle learning environment with a custom Document Sign-Off plugin. Once an employee finishes reading, they set the status to Done; the system instantly stores the user, timestamp and document version and feeds the data into a real-time compliance report.
